If you’re tired of the store-bought foaming hand soaps that can add up in cost and have questionable ingredients, then this DIY foaming hand soap is for you!
Prep Time10 minutesmins
Materials
1/4cupliquid castile soapunscented
1/2cupwater
1teaspooncarrier oiloptional
15dropsfavorite essential oil
1foaming soap dispenser
Instructions
If you're reusing an old foaming soap dispenser, make sure it's clean and dry. If it's new, remove any packaging or labels.
Pour 1/4 cup of liquid castile soap into the dispenser. This will be the base of your foaming hand soap.
Next, pour in 1/2 cup of water, or simply fill up with water leaving 1/2 an inch at the top.
This is optional for extra moisturzing - add 1 teaspoon of carrier oil, such as coconut or olive oil. I don't typically do this.
Add 10-20 drops of your favorite essentail oils (my magic number seems to be 15.)
Put the lid on your dispenser, give it a good shake, and you're good to go!
