Apple Cider Vinegar Pickled Onions
This easy-to-make recipe takes just a few basic ingredients and a little time to create a tangy, crunchy topping that will complement everything from fish tacos to burgers, salads, and sandwiches.

- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1.5 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 medium red onion thinly sliced
Add the warm water, vinegar, sugar, and sea salt to a mason jar. Stire until the salt and sugar are dissoved.
Add the raw red onions to the vinegar mixture and let it sit out at room temperature for one hour(ish.)
Cover and store in the fridge!
*Make sure you thinly slice the red onions.
*Once the onions are used up you can reuse the liquid one more time! Just add more raw onions.
